With 20 years of International travel, and a family tradition of interior design and creative endeavors, Laura decided to dedicate herself to studying and applying Design Principles and Elements to create exquisite floral creations for clients homes, weddings, and corporate spaces in 2010. After studying and completing the Certification Program through the Michigan Floral Association in 2012 earning her the title, Certified Florist, she continues to craft, learn, and grow.
About My Experience
She worked as an design assistant at Emerald City Designs in Farmington Hills. She has attended several extraordinary workshops and conferences to continue to set her self and her work above others.
Examples of that include a Francoise Weeks Botanical and Couture Workshop, hosted by Passionflower's Susan McCleary in Ann Arbor, MI and a 3-day on site workshop at HOPE Flower Farm in Leesburg, Va with the amazing Holly Heider Chapple and Internationally recognized designer Robbie Honey. With that, she is a current member of the Chapel Designers Group who support, inspire and share with each other to continue to creatively grow and learn.
She has designed for many weddings and events in Ann Arbor, and the surrounding area, including venues such as Zingerman's Cornman Farms, The Michigan League, Misty Farms, The Sheraton Ballroom, Weber's Inn, Ann Arbor Woman's City Club and many others.
She is the exclusive Floral Designer for Pillar Technology at The Forge in Ann Arbor providing weekly arrangements and helping to design event spaces for corporate gatherings.
